Pending Open Boat Dates are Green Available Dates are Grey
Before requesting an Open Boat Date, please refer to Charter Dates Calender to be sure the date you are requesting is not already booked.
Open Boat Conditions An Open Boat Trip will not take place until 4 or more people have requested the same date. When this happens, all people who requested the date will receive a confirmation email that the trip is taking place. Once the boat has its max capacity of 6 people for an Open Boat Trip, the date will become red on the Charter Dates Calender since the boat is full for that date. Note: Until we have 4 or more people for an Open Boat Date, a Charter request for the same date has priority over the Open Boat Date and will bump the Open Boat Trip. If this happens, people who requested the Open Boat Date will receive an email that explains this has happened. They will be refunded their deposit, or they can put the deposit towards another trip. As soon as the first person requests an Open Boat Date, we will do our best to try and fill the boat for that date so the trip can take place.
Open Boat Trips are great for those who are not able to round up enough people for a charter and want to go fishing. Only have 1 or 2 friends who want to go? Just book the same date together for an Open Boat Trip. Tip: Because we do not run an Open Boat Trip unless we have 4 people or more for the same date, try to request the same day someone else already has requested (indicated in GREEN on the calendar). This increases your odds of going fishing.
