HD Video Cameras
Exile has a set of two High Definition video cameras that run 24/7 to catch all of the action while you are out fishing with us. One camera is focused on the whole cockpit. With this camera, we can capture all of the action going on in the cockpit, from the chaos during the strike all of the way to the boating of your fish. Our second camera is focused on the action behind the boat. This is great for trolling because it covers the whole spread of baits. It will capture your tuna or marlin crashing the bait before it is even hooked.
Note: Following DVD Option is now available. For more information about this option, please contact Captain Ricky Wheeler (info@exilesportfishing.com) .
The best part of having cameras on the boat is we can make you a DVD of your trip so you can take it home to show your friends and family. What better way to make a memory last... Some clips that we select will also be displayed in our Video Gallery. If for some reason you would not like to be filmed, please just let us know. DVD prices upon request.

Captain Ricky Wheeler has been fishing the Delaware Bay, Jersey Coast, and Upper Chesapeake Bay since he was a kid. He has caught everything from flounder and stripers up to tuna and marlin. Ricky graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor's of the Arts concentrated in Psychology in May, 2006. The summer after graduation, he worked as a mate on a 54 foot private sportfishing boat up until the end of the White Marlin Open. At the end of the summer he jumped onto the 45 foot Hatteras, "Exile" , to fish the last two days of the Mid-Atlantic $500,000 in Cape May, NJ and has been fishing on the boat ever since. Boat owner Frank Pettisani, Jr. had him running the boat by November that year, and Ricky got his Captain's license in May of 2007.
So far as a Captain he has fished eight striper tournaments, taking a spot in the top ten in every one and finishing in the money in 5 of the 8 tournaments. He has also captained angler Maureen Klause to the recent 2# IGFA line class Striped Bass World Record. He also just guided the same angler to a pending IGFA tautog world record on 2# test. As a mate he has fished numerous marlin, tuna, and shark tournaments. He has been a part of many notable tournament finishes on "Exile" with the most recent being "Grand Champions" in the 2nd Annual Tuna Stakes. This win gives the Exile Team the invitation to fish in the 2010 IGFA Offshore World Championship in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
